Winner of the Creative Sculpture Photo Contest!

Thanks to everyone who participated this year in our creative photo contest involving our on-campus sculptures.  The first pic below is our winner, submitted by senior Jeanne Li, however, we have included some of the other ingenious and heartfelt entries as well from both our Upper & Middle Schools...Jeanne will be receiving 2 tickets to the Whitney Museum for her artistic efforts... Congrats! Hope you enjoy our sculptures too, we now have 12 on campus,...

16th Annual Senior Spotlight!!!

The Swartley Gallery is glowing with the creative accomplishments of 5 of our top seniors...featuring layered painting by Jeanne Li, a vortex of prints by Dana Koscielny, sculptural poetry by Alexis Inguagiatto, surrealistic drawings by Stephanie Moon and artistic questions about Gender politics from Estée Levy this show is not to be missed!

Promotional Arts Society travels to Whitney on Saturday Afternoon

On a recent Saturday, a group of students and faculty met up at Dwight-Englewood to board a bus and head to the Whitney Museum of American Art for an enjoyable day of art viewing, discussion satiating our art appetite...ending the day at Shake Shack...yum on both counts!

Rachel Brusky paintings dazzle Dwight-Englewood




Our most recent exhibit in the Swartley Gallery features the most recent addition to our arts faculty, Rachel Brusky.  The paintings shown here are just a sample of the incredible, photorealistic works of Ms. Brusky, currently teaching summer courses, 6th and 7th grade Studio Art, Studio Art 1 (Upper School), and Physical Computing (7th grade).

New Sculptures Arrive on Campus!!! 2012

Despite school closure to Sandy & Snow, all of our newest sculptures have arrived to join our permanent outdoor sculptures for the 2nd Annual Sculpture Exhibit. We have continued our relationship with the NY Sculptor's Guild but also added an indoor wall piece with an international flavor. Hope you get a chance to stop by and see them in person...The exhibit will be on view through the summer, with a spring reception soon to be announced,
