Promotional Arts Society travels to Whitney on Saturday Afternoon

On a recent Saturday, a group of students and faculty met up at Dwight-Englewood to board a bus and head to the Whitney Museum of American Art for an enjoyable day of art viewing, discussion satiating our art appetite...ending the day at Shake Shack...yum on both counts!

Rachel Brusky paintings dazzle Dwight-Englewood

Our most recent exhibit in the Swartley Gallery features the most recent addition to our arts faculty, Rachel Brusky.  The paintings shown here are just a sample of the incredible, photorealistic works of Ms. Brusky, currently teaching summer courses, 6th and 7th grade Studio Art, Studio Art 1 (Upper School), and Physical Computing (7th grade).

Rachel explains technical aspects of her painting to Senior art students.
Head of School, Rodney Dejarnett stops by the opening reception.
